Here is a copy of a letter the appeared in
The Daily Times today. After reading this I felt that I needed to share this with you… Why because it is true. I wish I would have copied the letter I seen the otehr day where Tennessee has 10 agents working the borders to make sure you do not bring in smokes from other states. The figures were funny as hell. They pay these enforcement guys more money in a month then what they get for busting people because they have only caught a handful.
But anyway because I am a smoker and I used to live in backwoods Tennessee this letter really seemed to hit home. I thought it was funny as hell and I say kudos to the author for speaking his mind. I truly wish more people would speak up about freedom because before you know it and realize it just about all your freedoms will be gone because we are turning into a police country. Anyhow enough of my rambling for now as i don’t want to steal the limelight away from the author of the following letter:
Dictatorial laws don’t work well
Dear Editor:
Well folks here it is the middle part of November. Therefore, let me attempt a one person “hot wash” for everybody on how this new anti-smoking legislation is working out that was enacted in order to apparently turn all of us Tennesseans into state-owned, operated, and controlled, perfect human being “robots.” Similar legislation was enacted in the early 20th century by a few good ol’ boys by the names of Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, and Hitler. As I recall, it didn’t work out very well for them so let’s see how it’s going so far here in Tennessee in the year 2007.
